PEIRCE 101

Add value to your Peirce College experience and increase your chance of success with our online orientation course, Peirce 101 (PRC 101). This one-credit hour course is designed to help you orient to the College's services and adjust to college study. It is a required course that provides you with resources and skills that will assist you in earning your degree. All students are required to successfully complete this course within their initial 14 weeks of enrollment.

Peirce 101 is conveniently offered online and can be paid with Financial Aid (for students who meet Financial Aid eligibility requirements).

Peirce 101 includes:

  • Information about student services and College polices and procedures
  • Information about study skills, conducting research and the MLA (Modern Language Associate) method of formatting research papers and documenting resources
  • Information about ordering books and financing my education
  • A College Student Inventory which helps students assess their learning style
  • Information regarding advising and registration

Who should take Peirce 101?
All new, returning and transfer Peirce students must complete Peirce 101 within the first four weeks at the College. Students must earn a grade of "P" or "pass" in the course.
