Peirce College Board of Trustees Names Gregory J. West, Chair, and Lawrence Scanlan Jr., Vice Chair

PHILADELPHIA - November 29, 2006 - Peirce College, a private, four-year, specialized institution providing practical, high quality degree programs to primarily working adult learners, announced today that its Board of Trustees has elected a new chair, Gregory J. West, SIOR, Executive Vice President, Colliers Lanard and Axilbund, Philadelphia, PA and vice chair, Lawrence Scanlan Jr., CPA, formerly President of The Hunter Group, and Managing Director of Navigant Consulting, Chicago, IL.
"Utilizing their significant experience, Gregory West and Lawrence Scanlan will contribute greatly to the College's continued growth and expansion as an institution with national scope and international reach," said Peirce College President Arthur J. Lendo, Ph. D. "The Peirce Community and I are grateful for their commitment to the institution."
At Colliers LandA, Mr. West oversees the management and operations of the company's Office Division and actively represents several major corporations and businesses in their real estate initiatives. He has more than three decades experience in brokerage and real estate management.
Mr. Scanlan, who attended Peirce College, is a CPA with more than 25 years experience in finance and executive management within the healthcare industry. As a consultant, he has assisted CEOs and boards in developing and implementing innovative approaches to performance improvement, productivity and long-term financial management and mergers.
