Peirce College Placement Test

Because we are interested in your academic success, Peirce College offers a Placement Test that helps students assess their math and English skills and identify their academic strengths and areas of academic need. The results of the Placement Test are used to assist students in developing a successful academic plan.

Who Takes the Placement Test?

Students who apply to the College without transfer credit (a grade of "C" or better) in English 101 and/or college-level math are required to take the Placement Test. Students who score below 70% on the assessment(s) are required to take and pass English 101 and/or college level math in a
14-week format.

Students who readmit to the College without transfer credit or who have not successfully completed English 101 and/or college-level math must also take the Placement Test.

Students may waive the Placement Test requirement, resulting in automatic enrollment in the 14-week format for English 101 and/or college level math, as applicable.
