About this event

Women presently make up about 12% of the members of law enforcement in the U.S., while making up more than 50% of the general population. Recent research suggests that women bring a unique perspective and a calming effect to policing. But what does it take for a woman to become a law enforcement officer and have a long and successful career?

This event’s diverse panel of career female law enforcement officers will explore this question. Panel members will share their stories and lived experiences as well as answer questions from the audience.

This will be a virtual event via Zoom. Meeting details will be sent out in follow up emails after registration and prior to the actual meeting.
