Adjunct Faculty - Human Services Leadership


Peirce College is hiring adjunct faculty to teach on campus and online in the 2019-2020 academic year in the Bachelor of Science in Human Services Leadership degree program.  Courses are offered at 1420 Pine Street. We offer Peirce Fit classes in the evening and online formats. For a full listing of courses, please see the College Catalog


Master's degree in field (such as human services, psychology, sociology, social work, counseling, public health, political science, adult education, and nursing) with a minimum of two (2) years successful teaching in higher education and/or other related experience. Consideration will be given to faculty trained in human services and/or interdisciplinary methods and approaches. Demonstrated ability to listen carefully, to interpret accurately, and to respond to a high volume of requests. High degree of professionalism and confidentiality. Computer literacy, understanding of active learning, adult learning theory and principles, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.


Day, evening, online, and weekend responsibilities, as required.
