Staff Openings

Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description: Responsible for contacting students via email & telephone to collect payment on delinquent balances; negotiating payment arrangements with students for outstanding balances; setting up recurring credit card payments & eChecks for delinquent accounts that have entered into a payment arrangement with the College; reviewing delinquent accounts for follow-up emails & phone calls requesting payment; determining when & which delinquent accounts should be outsourced to an external agency for continuation of collection efforts; interacting with collection agencies &/or law firms for placement of delinquent accounts; maintaining a tracking system to recall stale accounts placed with agencies & determining if accounts should be contacted in-house or be sent to a different agency as second placements; ensuring that students’ accounts are paid in full before allowing transcript requests to be processed or former students to readmit: & processing invoices for outgoing commissions from law firms & collection agencies.

Director, Grant Writing & Compliance

Description: Primarily charged with the College’s grant research, proposal writing, execution and compliance tracking for government, corporate and foundation based funding opportunities in support of the College’s mission. This position works closely with faculty and administrative staff to prioritize opportunities, develop grant goals and funding needs and manage institutional tracking relative to grant and project execution.

First Year Academic Coach

Description: Responsible for providing academic advising and guidance to first-year “at risk” students and students enrolled in the Year Up program. Maintains direct contact with advisees to include meeting with students individually as well as in small groups on an ongoing basis to build rapport, identify barriers to success, set goals and develop action plans for academic success. Monitors educational goals and educational plans to maximize retention and completion. Facilitates academic workshops and seminars specific for first-year students, as well as cultural and social events. Effectively interprets student data for assessment and reporting purposes related to retention.
