Originally developed for members of the U.S. Armed Forces, Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES) exams now also offer college-level credit for civilians and working adults. These standardized tests are administered by The Chauncey Group International, a division of the Educational Testing Service (ETS), and are designed to help you along in your pursuit of higher education. You can get exam information and learn more about DANTES test centers and dates by visiting the DANTES website.
Peirce College has a long history of educating servicemen and women. In fact, the College was originally founded in 1865 as a school for educating veterans returning from the Civil War. In the 150 years since, we’ve maintained our dedication to educating active service members and veterans while extending the same career-oriented education opportunities we offer them to our working adult students. We’re excited to accommodate the unique needs of both groups, and to give them flexible options for pursuing degrees on an accelerated timeline.
At Peirce, your eligibility to receive credit for courses based on other standardized tests, including the DANTES test, will be reviewed and evaluated on a case-by-case basis based on the American Council on Education’s (ACE) standards.
