Competency-Based Degrees Curriculum

Peirce College competency-based education (CBE) is currently being offered to students in our IT bachelor's degree with a concentration in Networking, Administration and Information Security. Because CBE leverages what you already know to be the most direct path to a degree, students focus only on the skills they still need to learn – not those they've already mastered.

You can see the full CBE curriculum for our Networking, Administration and Information Security degree below. CBE is a flexible, self-paced style of online learning that gives you college credits for the skills, experience and education you already have. You'll work closely with a personal coach to identify an easy-to-follow plan that will let you study only what you still need to learn. And because everything is online, you can study at whatever times and places work best for you. All you need is an internet connection.

Your customized plan will let you take as many credits as you want per term, and the quicker you're able to master "competencies," which earn you college credits, the more money you'll save on your tuition. So why wait? Take our quick two-minute CBE assessment to find out if competency-based education is right for you and get started on your degree today.
