For a student to have financial aid awards processed for Spring 2023 disbursements, all financial aid documents must have been processed by January 26, 2023.

The next scheduled Spring 2023 refund disbursements* will be processed on February 21, 2023**

*Refund dates do not apply to all students.

**The published refund date is when funds will be sent to BankMobile. Once BankMoblie receives the funds, it may take 24 to 48 hours to be sent to you, depending on your refund selection.

The 2023 Spring semester is comprised of the following sessions:

Session 1 - Classes with a beginning date between January 9, 2023 through March 5,2023

Session 2 - Classes with a beginning date between March 13, 2023 through April 30,2023

Spring 15-week courses - Continuous enrollment during January 9,2023 through April 30, 2023

In most cases, students take courses in each main session (ex. Spring Session 3 & 4). If a student is receiving financial assistance, student financial aid is divided between the two sessions of the semester. Financial aid will still be divided between two sessions even if a student is only taking classes in one session that semester. Please feel free to contact our office to discuss your financial aid eligibility.


What is checked prior to Peirce issuing my student refund?

  • Account Credit 

If, after your financial aid has been applied to your billing statement, it is determined you have a credit (meaning money that will come back to you) then a refund will be reviewed and issues if eligible.

  • Attendance:

Attendance and Participation is directly related to the percentage of earned financial aid awards.

  • High school or college transcripts have been submitted: 

If you have a high school or college transcript hold, your funds will not be approved by the Department of Education. An official transcript must be submitted to the Registrar's Office for review and acceptance. If you have a GED or have earned an Associate’s Degree from another college or university, please forward this information to the Registrar’s Office for review.

  • Number of credits:

If you have dropped a course(s) and/or have withdrawn from a course(s) this may delay, decrease or eliminate your anticipated refund. Your financial aid was determined and processed based on the original number of credits you decided to pursue for the semester.  Changes to these classes could change your Federal and/or PA State Awards.

  • Laptop purchase - Best Buy Computer Purchase Program

By enrolling in the Best Buy Computer Purchase Program, your federal funding will be disbursed during the even sessions disbursement schedule (second session of the semester).

How do I set up my BankMobile Preference?

  • A mailer and an email will be sent to you with instructions on how to select your refund preference. Follow the instructions enclosed to make your choice.
    • If you have not received your code via email or mail contact the student billing office by emailing billing1@peirce.edu
