The 2022 Spring semester is comprised of the following sessions:

Session 3 (January 10, 2022 through March 6, 2022)

Session 3 Interim (January 31, 2022 through March 27, 2022)

Session 4 (March 14, 2022 through May 1, 2022)

Session 4 Interim (April 4, 2022 through April 25, 2022)

Spring 15-week courses (January 10, 2022 through May 1, 2022)

In most cases, students take courses in each main session (ex. Spring Session 5 & 6). If a student is receiving financial assistance, student financial aid is divided between the two sessions of the semester. Financial aid will still be divided between two sessions even if a student is only taking classes in one session that semester.


In order for a student to have financial aid awards processed for Spring Session 4 disbursements, all financial aid documents must have been processed by March 28th, 2022

The next scheduled Spring 2022 refund disbursements* will be processed April 22nd, 2022

*Refund dates do not apply to all students.

**The above published refund date is when the money will be sent to BankMobile. Once BankMoblie receives the funds, it may take an additional 24 to 48 hours to be sent to you depending on your refund selection. 

 

What is checked prior to Peirce issuing my student loan refund?

  1. Account Credit:If, after your financial aid has been applied to your billing statement, it is determined you have a credit (meaning money that will come back to you) then a refund might be issued.
  2. Attendance: You must attend class and actively participate on a regular basis.
  3. High school or college transcripts have been submitted:If you have a high school or college transcript hold your funds will not get applied until the high school or college transcript has arrived in the Registrar’s Office and shows you have graduated from high school or are transferring in college credits. If you have a GED or have earned an Associate’s Degree from another college or university, please forward this information to the Registrar’s Office for review.
  4. Number of credits: If you have dropped a course(s) and/or have withdrawn from a course(s) this may delay, decrease or eliminate your refund.Your financial aid was determined and processed based upon the original number of credits you decided to pursue for the semester.  Changes to these classes could change your financial aid.
  5. Laptop purchase: By taking part in the Best Buy Computer Purchase Program, financial aid will not disburse until the end of the semester.

Setting up your BankMobile Preference:

  • A mailer and an email will be sent to you with instructions on how to select your refund preference. Follow the instructions enclosed to make your choice.
