Financial Aid:

Undergraduate Grants

A grant is a needs-based form of financial aid that need not be paid back. Students at Peirce can apply for federal and state grants, as well as for grant programs funded by the College.


Federal Pell Grants

These grants are awarded to full- and part-time students who demonstrate exceptional financial need, based on the student's Expected Family Contributions (EFC). Awards vary based on the number of enrolled credits and range from $400 through $5,350 per year.


Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants (FSEOG)

Awards are made to full- and part-time students with financial need. The actual awards vary based on the number of enrolled credits and range from $200 through $4,000 per year.


Pennsylvania State Grant (PHEAA)

These grants are awarded based on financial need to Pennsylvania residents who are accepted into an undergraduate program and who enroll for at least six credits each semester. Funds are limited and change from year to year. Awards vary based on the number of enrolled credits and range from $100 through $3,770 per year.


Institutional Aid (PEOG)

These awards are funded by the College and range from $200 through $1,000 per year. Recipients are full- and part-time students who demonstrate financial need.


Pennsylvania Summer State Grant

To be eligible for this grant, students must be Pennsylvania residents and enrolled at least half-time. Awards will be made in July. Application forms are available at www.pheaa.org.


Peirce Protect and Serve® Grant

U.S. Military, Active or Retired Armed Forces, Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, Reserves, National Guard, The Fraternal Order of Police or Fire Fighters, Corrections or EMT personnel automatically qualify for a Protect and Serve Grant at Peirce College. If you are a U.S. citizen and serve in one of the capacities listed, you, your spouse and dependent children are eligible for financial aid through our Protect and Serve Grant.

Protect and Serve Grant award level is 25% of tuition for all qualified students. Students take courses on campus in Philadelphia; on site at regional locations; and online over the Internet. Alumni Grant

Peirce College allows children, grandchildren and spouses of a Peirce alumnus to apply for an Alumni Grant for a maximum amount of 25% of tuition (fees and books are excluded from this grant). Awarding of this grant is contingent upon the applicant meeting all of the following eligibility requirements. To be eligible for this grant, the applicant: (1) must provide documentation that a parent or grandparent has graduate status. In some cases, the Financial Aid Manager can retrieve college records to prove eligibility. (2) must provide proof of their relationship to the alumni. (3) must meet all of the College's admission standards and qualifications before being eligible for the grant. All applications must be submitted 15 days before the start of each semester/term. This grant allows for the following discount:


Sibling Grant

Peirce's Sibling Plan offers the sibling of a Peirce student or recent (within the past two years) Peirce graduate an amount equivalent to 25% of tuition (not on fees or books.) NOTE: If more than two siblings apply, the amount will be divided equally (or as requested) for a combined amount of no more than 25%. This benefit is available for all semesters and or terms. In some cases, the Financial Aid Manager can retrieve college records to prove eligibility. Awarding of this grant is contingent upon meeting all of the College's eligibility requirements. (1) must provide documentation of a sibling's graduate status. (2) must provide proof of their relationship to the alumni. (3) must meet all of the College's admission standards and qualifications before being eligible for the grant. All applications must be submitted 15 days before each semester and/or terms.
