As Vice President of Academic Advancement & Provost, Dr. Rita Toliver-Roberts holds over 27 years experience working in higher education, advancing student success and innovative academic programming. She is responsible for Peirce's academic programs, graduate and undergraduate faculty, strategic partnerships, institutional and academic program accreditation, articulation agreements, and curriculum development. As a member of the faculty, Dr. Toliver-Roberts teaches psychology, sociology, higher education leadership, and organizational leadership and management courses.

As a transformational leader committed to closing the educational divide, Dr. Toliver-Roberts continuously promotes the importance of lifetime and higher learning. Dr. Toliver-Roberts is currently the Vice Chairperson of the Board of Directors for the Wilson Harrison Education Foundation, board member of African American Chamber of Commerce, and member of the Philadelphia Summer Youth Employment Cabinet.

Dr. Toliver-Roberts graduated from Rowan University attaining degrees in Educational Leadership (Ed.D) and Psychology (B.A). She also earned a degree in Counseling (M.A.) from Rider University.
