Course Developers / Subject Matter Experts in Higher Education Leadership

Description: Responsible for the development of graduate courses in Higher Education Leadership. Course topics include: Theories of Adult Education, Accreditation & Compliance, Diversity & Inclusion, Developing Trends in Higher Education, Student Services, Enrollment Management, Instructional Technology, and Online Learning.

SMEs will be hired during the Winter/Spring of 2021 and beyond to develop hybrid courses for the Peirce Fit delivery mode in collaboration with the faculty and instructional design teams.

SMEs may also have the opportunity to teach these courses within Higher Education Leadership beginning the Summer of 2021.

Staff Openings

Administrative Coordinator, SFS

Description: Responsible for being the first point of contact for students and/or parents contacting the Student Financial Services office. Provides limited counseling to prospective students and families about the financial aid process and available financing options; elevates issues to appropriate financial aid personnel, as needed. Coordinates and sends out timely and accurate Student Financial Services communications through all financial aid software - Jenzabar, PowerFaids/Netpartners, and Salesforce. Assists in preparing reports for and responding to audits by federal and state agencies. Responsible for default prevention correspondence process. Proactively contributes to the improvement of office operations.

Admissions Advisor

Description: Responsible for encouraging prospective students by progressing them from inquiry to enrolled status. Advises students about the admissions process. Supports and guides them with identifying educational goals, developing educational plans, receiving credit for prior learning (to include work experience and other forms of non-traditional learning), evaluating transfer credits and transcripts, and providing information and updates on financial aid, billing, and other student services such as tutoring, career advising, counseling, and the library. Additionally, this position plans and performs enrollment activities to maximize enrollment goals, as well as represents the College in all internal and external functional enrollment, advising, and sales activities and events.

Director, Business Development and Program Implementation

Description: Responsible for strengthening and expanding the College’s enrollment and revenue growth through the development and management of viable strategic partnerships with regional employers who value the importance of education for workforce development and support their employees with education benefits. Serving as both an internal and external-facing relationship manager, this position works collaboratively with Marketing, Finance, Admissions, Academic Affairs, and Student Services to develop workforce programs and strategies which help achieve the College’s institutional goals.  Specific duties include:

  • Represents the College externally and performs new business development and customer relationship management activities to achieve the College’s workforce, financial, and enrollment goals.
  • Serves as a client relationship/solutions manager.  Oversees the details of partnerships, contracts, training, tracking and reporting systems, and program operations.
  • Develops and maintains appropriate systems and procedures. Collaborates with other areas of the College and contributes to the College’s partnership cultivation and development.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally to gauge growth, funding, and relationship cultivation opportunities.  Develops internal and external support of new programs, responsive services, and partnerships.
  • Manages alignment between the College and key external constituencies in support of the institution’s strategic goals.
  • Participates in various College/Industry advisory board meetings to gather insights and develop solutions that meet current or emerging needs.
  • Other duties/functions, as assigned.
