Admissions Advisor

Description: Responsible for encouraging prospective students by progressing them from inquiry to enrolled status. Advises students about the admissions process. Supports and guides them with identifying educational goals, developing educational plans, receiving credit for prior learning (to include work experience and other forms of non-traditional learning), evaluating transfer credits and transcripts, and providing information and updates on financial aid, billing, and other student services such as tutoring, career advising, counseling, and the library. Additionally, this position plans and performs enrollment activities to maximize enrollment goals, as well as represents the College in all internal and external functional enrollment, advising, and sales activities and events.

Director of Corporate Engagement and Partnerships

Responsible for leading and managing new and existing corporate partnerships. As part of the Admissions Department, this position is responsible for strengthening and expanding the College’s enrollment and revenue growth through the development and management of viable strategic partnerships with regional employers who value the importance of education for workforce development and support their employees with education benefits. Serving as both an internal and external-facing relationship manager, this position works collaboratively with all of the College’s divisions to develop workforce programs and strategies which help achieve the College’s institutional goals.  Specifics duties will include:

  • Serves as the College’s leading point person in successfully soliciting, cultivating, and executing corporate and select organizational partnerships that lead to enrollment and revenue growth.
  • Researches new corporate prospects as well as targets and works with internal stakeholders to develop strategies, access points, and modes of engagement.
  • Refines the prospect list for corporate engagement based on industry trends and institutional strategic goals.
  • Creates proposals, presentations, applications, white papers, status reports, and other materials, as needed, in support of sponsor and partnership solicitation. This extends to preparing other members of the admissions team and/or college leadership for their participation in solicitation meetings.
  • Collaborates with the Admissions’ team to ensure corporate and partnership strategies are aligned to the overall institutional goals and serves as lead for a collaborative outreach plan.
  • Supports the development, execution, and assessment of institutional strategies designed to build external relationships and partnerships that align with the College’s strategic needs and agenda.
  • Responsible for the administration of budgets and resources allocated for the unit.
  • Develops and maintains appropriate systems and procedures. Collaborates with other areas of the College and contributes to the College’s partnership cultivation and development.
  • Hosts corporate partners virtually and, when applicable, in-person for meetings with college leadership, faculty, and students. Develops corporate events in collaboration with constituent engagement and special events in support of partnership fulfillment.
  • Participates in internal and external advisory board meetings to gather insights and develop solutions that meet current or emerging needs.

Director of Strategic Programs

Responsible for strategizing, implementing, and maintaining program initiatives and activities that adhere to organizational objectives and standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance. This position oversees the implementation of new projects and partnerships as well as existing projects and partnerships by monitoring and providing data, making recommendations, and implementing solutions to achieve project goals and objectives. Specifics duties will include:

  • Implements, facilitates, and provides comprehensive support for small to complex projects that are critical to the development, growth, and sustainability of current and new strategic initiatives.
  • Serves as Project Director for the PBI Formula grant, through overseeing grant implementation and monitoring to ensure grant outcomes are met.
  • Monitors progress of special programs and partnerships. Drafts and distributes periodic progress reports for leadership and stakeholders regarding those programs and partnerships.
  • Designs and implements a system for tracking on-going initiatives and the progress of the plans to compare organizational performance against goals. Develops and delivers status reports regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues.
  • Serves as the College’s leading point person in managing the Career Bridge program: oversees student transition into the program as well as performance throughout the program; collaborates with corporate partners and hiring managers to determine readiness for work immersion; regularly analyzes and leverages learning community-related data; and reports out on trending and student/community performance.
  • Oversees federal grant implementation and monitoring such as Title III grants.
  • Serves as the College’s leading point person in managing large corporate partners and meets regularly with partners to provides data and reports.
  • Develops and manages budget and funding channels for maximum productivity.
  • Manages third party online educational solutions such as Study.com, Sophia, Straighterline.

Financial Aid Specialist

Description: The position serves as the central point of contact for all student needs regarding financial aid. Responsibilities included: preparing financial aid packages based on specific program eligibility and total award amount; identifying awards available through various sources; combining funds to create a total financial aid award; preparing documentation to release or hold warrants; monitoring student records for Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) and other criteria to ensure obligations have been met and notifying students of continued eligibility or disqualification; advising students of appeal processes; monitoring student enrollment and recalculating awards when necessary; providing one-on-one counseling sessions with students; researching, verifying, analyzing, and assessing student financial histories, including defaulted loans and/or repayment obligations at other institutions; and, overseeing Title IV refunds and repayments, including U.S. Department of Education and National Student Loan Data Systems notifications.

Marketing and Communications Specialist

Description: Responsible for assisting the Marketing and Communications Department in accomplishing the goals and mission of the College by directly contributing to the College’s strategic goals to include attracting new students, enhancing the image of the College, and building relationships with key groups such as current students, prospective students, alumni, and College employees. Specifics duties to include:

  • Develops creative content, including videos, infographics, blog articles, and native content in collaboration with the Senior Director and the VP, as well as provides video editing and production services for in-house events and projects.
  • Manages the College’s email marketing operations by building content, overseeing calendar planning and managing contact lists for prospects, current students, alumni, and other constituencies.
  • Leads administration of the College’s social media program by creating and delivering social content, and overseeing community management and quarterly reporting. Develops and executes the College’s social media strategy in collaboration with the Senior Director and VP.
  • Manages the College blog, including developing and publishing content.
  • Oversees marketing event planning and attendee recruitment for external and internal College events. Manages event promotion to include material creation (emails, flyers, social posts, etc.) and online registration and RSVP tracking for events aimed at new student recruitment, current student engagement, and fundraising/alumni. 
  • Partners with various teams, departments, and managers to identify opportunities and develop outreach strategies in target lead generation and partnership development markets.
  • Develops and executes internal student-focused marketing campaigns.
  • Provides internal marketing support and plans development and execution to include signage creation and back up website content management. Executes tactics for marketing plans established by the College and department, including but not limited to coordinating mailings, updating materials, developing collaterals, and monitoring deliveries.
  • Manages relationships with external vendors by negotiating pricing, developing creative briefs and preparation documents, conducting project briefings, and keeping projects to deadline.
  • Plans and implements promotional campaigns, as outlined in the College’s marketing plans. Responsible for identifying promotional material needs of stakeholders.  Drafts, confirms, and fulfills the promotional materials plan on an annual basis, and organizes and maintains those materials throughout the year.
  • Provides direction for departmental work wtudy students and interns by overseeing project and task execution, providing guidance and instruction, as needed.
  • Creates and deploys surveys to the College’s key audiences.  
  • Provides budget management and invoice processing support, as needed.
