Staff Openings

Director, Alumni Relations and Annual Giving

Description: This position will focus on increasing alumni engagement and participation rates, cultivating philanthropic relationships, making direct solicitations for contributions and meeting fundraising goals among alumni and other stakeholders. This position is responsible for the strategic management of an alumni network and will work with the Alumni Association Board of Directors to craft and execute its annual plan. This position also manages and executes the annual giving program, which entails direct mail, phonathons, web publications, solicitation visits, database management, segmentation strategies, alumni events and related marketing, web and social media efforts. Also responsible for liaising with faculty and staff to promote alumni engagement in relevant College activities and to build a culture of philanthropy in current students.

Manager, Faculty Recruitment & Professional Development

Description: Responsible for recruiting, interviewing and hiring all adjunct faculty members as well as conducting new hire orientation sessions. Manages the search process for full-time faculty employees as the human resources representative assigned by the Human Resources Department. Oversees payroll for adjunct faculty. Coordinates and manages the online workshops/in-service series. Provides information and communication to internal and external constituencies as it relates to faculty issues, including quality control of adjunct faculty profile and various academic reports. Reviews all course surveys and provides feedback to adjunct faculty when appropriate. Coordinates and participates in the classroom observation process for faculty. Manages the virtual bookstore.

Student Financial Services Associate

Description: This position is responsible for building billing tables for all student billing and creating reports for billing purposes. Charges all student accounts appropriate tuition, fee rates and miscellaneous charges to include computer purchases, library materials, credit by exam fees, graduation and application fees. Runs and reviews pre-registered student listings daily to ensure that all eligible non-financial aid students are made current for upcoming classes and ineligible students are made aware of what is needed in order to become eligible. Prepares manual invoices and receipts for students requiring accurate breakdowns of tuition and financial aid awards. Prepares all third-party invoicing and military invoices. Acts as liaison between third party tuition vendors and the college. Processes all employer tuition assistance agreements and is responsible for tracking tuition reimbursement, deferred tuition and third party payment due dates as well as notifying students and vendors of aging accounts. Responds to inquiries and investigates and resolves problems related to transactions handled by the unit. Evaluates financial viability of students and sets up payment plans for eligible students. Audits student accounts in preparation of impending refunds. Responsible for setting up and coordinating a graduation fair. Prepares daily deposits. Acts as department liaison for Jenzabar with regards to billing.
