Faculty Chair, Legal Studies

Description: Responsible for the organization, administration, continuous program review, planning, development and general effectiveness of the Peirce College Legal Studies programs (Criminal Justice Studies, Legal Studies in Business and Paralegal Studies/ABA approved). Faculty Member, General Education (Natural Science)

Description: Responsible for instruction of a wide array of undergraduate science classes. Teaches a total of 10 courses during the Fall and Spring Terms (with a 5/5 teaching load for each Fall and Spring Term); engages in, on average, four hours of institutional service per week which may include committee work, student recruitment programs, tutoring, career mentoring, academic advising, networking activities and curriculum/course development; attends functions, as assigned, including commencement, monthly faculty meetings, college forums and scheduled in-service activities; becomes involved in professional development activities and academic/professional organizations; and supports existing relationships with professional communities to foster professional socialization and leadership development.

Staff Openings

Accounts Receivable Specialist (Part Time)

Description: This position oversees operations for the office, provides administrative support and maintains strict confidentiality of issues involving the Vice President, Academic Advancement. Assists with financial management as needed to maintain internal controls, maintaining files, tracking budgetary activity and preparing expense reports. Assists with the development and forecasting of budget. Communicates with prospective graduate students to encourage enrollment, educate them about the admissions processes and provide support. Responds to inquiries and applications and then refers them to a Graduate Faculty Advisor for maintenance of their program. Oversees all admissions reporting through Salesforce, which includes creating and maintaining reports used for graduate enrollment management. Reviews on a continuous basis all Salesforce operations and recommend changes as needed. Serves as a role model in resolving customer issues in a satisfactory fashion and providing the customer with a superior experience in transacting business with the College and its representatives. Maintains the College community calendar and ensures accuracy of information. Maintains articulation agreements spreadsheet; finalizes agreements for signatures; coordinates mailing/receipt and distribution of signed final agreements; and maintains up-to-date listing on Peirce intranet. Provides administrative support for the Dean of Graduate Studies, Faculty Chairs, faculty and the academic leadership team as needed. Performs special assignments and manages special projects as assigned by the Vice President, Academic Advancement.

Learning Management System and Data Systems Administrator

Description: Responsible for the access to and availability of all Peirce College course content through the Learning Management System (LMS) – content management requires continual interaction with all full-time and adjunct faculty to ensure additions/modifications/deletions to the content is accurately and timely disseminated to all course websites; reconciles errors in the electronic transfer of data between the Student Information System (Jenzabar) and the LMS on a daily basis; enrolls faculty and supplemental instructors in their classes in a timely manner; creates all class websites in the LMS and other databases and ensures that they remain current with added and cancelled classes and staffing assignments; generates and deploys staffing surveys each term and assists with staffing as needed; designs multiple complex, interactive academic databases using Access, Excel and SQL, which provide the platforms on which all functions run, e.g. staffing courses, calculating payroll, tracking independent studies and co-ops, maintaining textbook lists, tracking classroom observations, collecting faculty credentials and scholarly activities information and professional development; builds and maintains course surveys and coordinates course survey deployment, retrieval and reporting process through the LMS; and, assists in administrative functions for the office of Academic Operations and Faculty Support.

Manager, Faculty Recruitment & Professional Development

Description: Responsible for recruiting, interviewing and hiring all adjunct faculty members as well as conducting new hire orientation sessions. Manages the search process for full-time faculty employees as the human resources representative assigned by the Human Resources Department. Oversees payroll for adjunct faculty. Coordinates and manages the online workshops/in-service series. Provides information and communication to internal and external constituencies as it relates to faculty issues, including quality control of adjunct faculty profile and various academic reports. Reviews all course surveys and provides feedback to adjunct faculty when appropriate. Coordinates and participates in the classroom observation process for faculty. Manages the virtual bookstore.
