Faculty Openings

Dean, Academic Operations & Faculty Support

Description: This position serves as the leader and manager for Academic Operations and Faculty Support and is responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and monitoring quality control systems for the academic program and operational procedures. More specifically, this position: leads the operations process for new academic programs and professional development/non-credit programs; monitors the faculty ratio to ensure compliance; maintains relationships between primary College vendors, as appropriate; implements and provides oversight to new initiatives with respect to operations and faculty; oversees faculty support functions to include staffing classes and hiring, faculty development/in-service, and faculty observations; oversees the orientation process for all part-time faculty members and participates in components of the process for all new full-time faculty members; manages development of academic calendar, college catalog, and class schedules in conjunction with other appropriate parties; oversees online administration, including responsibility for traffic management of students and faculty and interface between the Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Jenzabar; and, supervises the development and implementation of training for faculty and students on use of the LMS, including the CBE platform. Additionally, the Dean is responsible for teaching a minimum of one (1) course per academic year as a part of this role.

Financial Aid Specialist

Description: The position serves as the central point of contact for all student needs regarding financial aid. Responsible for providing in-depth counseling of individual students pertaining to their unique circumstances, to include meeting with students and parents to facilitate the financial aid process; conducting needs analysis in compliance with federal criteria to determine eligibility of each financial aid applicant; adhering to Federal verification standards by ensuring the data reported on the Federal application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) accurately reflects the data reported on corresponding federal tax return; resolving discrepancies, explaining and enforcing federal and state regulations, as well as College policy; and, maintaining accuracy of student files, authorizing the crediting of aid awards and processing adjustments to aid awards as needed.

Description: Peirce College is hiring adjunct faculty to teach on campus in the 2019-2020 academic year. The College offers undergraduate degree programs in Accounting, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, General Studies, Healthcare Administration, Health Information Administration, Health Information Technology, Human Resource Management, Information Technology, Legal Studies in Business, Paralegal Studies, Technology Management, and graduate degrees in Organizational Leadership & Management and Healthcare Administration.
