Reporting for HEERF II (CRRSAA) Student Funds September 2021

Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act 2021 (CRRSAA)

Each institution receiving CRRSAA funds is directed to comply with Federal regulations and submit reports outlining the distribution of these funds. At this time, Peirce College has begun distributing funds to students, prioritizing the distribution of funds to students who demonstrate exceptional financial need in accordance with the Department of Education's guidance. This site will be updated appropriately as guidance is received and funds are distributed.

  • The College received $305,695 on January 20, 2021 from the Department pursuant to the institution's Certification and Agreement for Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students.
  • The total amount of Emergency Financial Aid Grants distributed to students under the CRRSA Act as of September 30, 2021 is $272,000.
  • In the quarter, 120 enrolled students were eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students under the CRRSA Act.
  • In the quarter, 73 students received an Emergency Financial Aid Grant under the CRRSA Act, one student declined the award, and 46 students received the grant in early October, partially funded from the Institutional Portion of CRRSSA.
  • Grants of $1000 were distributed to students whose FASFA indicated an Effective Family Contribution(EFC) of 0 - 100.
  • Eligible students were notified of fund availability via email and received the funds through the BankMobile refund distribution system.
