Purpose

As part of their Veterans Ministry, the Church of the Holy Trinity, located on Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia, has provided this scholarship to provide financial support to veterans or active military personnel who have completed 15 credit hours or more toward their degree. 

Award

Award may vary based on funding. There are a limited number of scholarships available. Students awarded the scholarship are required to write a thank you letter to the donor within three weeks of receiving the scholarship. Failure to do so many result in the loss of the scholarship. Additional information about this will be communicated to the student once the scholarship has been awarded.

Eligibility criteria:

• Be a Peirce College undergraduate students
• Have selected courses for the 2023-2024 school year
• Have a GPA of 2.5 or above
• Be a veteran or active military personnel

Application Requirements

Interested students must submit all application materials by the deadline.

• Completed Common Scholarship Application
• Applicants must submit two (2) letters of recommendation evidencing good citizenship.
• Applicants must also submit a on (1) page types essay the applicant's involvement in Peirce College or non-college activities, such as current employment, church, or community organizations
