The J. Linford Snyder ’33 Scholarship Fund (1997)

In December 1988, Mr. J. Linford Snyder ’33 established a scholarship fund with the purpose of providing scholarships to students who demonstrate financial need, academic success, and involvement in school or community activities. After seeing the successes of the first scholarship fund, he generously established a second fund to help additional students.

Award: award of up to $1500

Eligibility criteria:

  • Peirce College undergraduate student
  • Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • File a 2019-2020 Free Application for Federal Student Aid prior to submitting a scholarship application

Interested students must submit a completed application by July 15, 2019 using the Scholarship Application website.

Applicants must also submit two (2) letters of recommendation and a short essay to scholarships@peirce.edu by the deadline. The scholarship essay must highlight the applicant’s involvement in Peirce College or non-college activities, such as current employment, church or community organizations.

There are a limited number of scholarships available.
