The J. Linford Snyder ’33 Scholarship Fund (1997)


In December 1988, Mr. J. Linford Snyder ’33 established a scholarship fund with the purpose of providing scholarships to students who demonstrate financial need, academic success, and involvement in school or community activities. After seeing the successes of the first scholarship fund, he generously established a second fund to help additional students.


Award of up to $1500. There are a limited number of scholarships available.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Peirce College undergraduate student
  • Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • File a 2021-2022 Free Application for Federal Student Aid prior to submitting a scholarship application

Application Requirements

Interested students must submit a completed application by July 1st, 2021. Log in to the student portal at My.Peirce.Edu to apply for awards.

Applicants must also submit two (2) letters of recommendation by the deadline, July 1st, 2021.

Applicants must submit an essay by the deadline, July 1st, 2021. The scholarship essay must highlight the applicant’s involvement in Peirce College or non-college activities, such as current employment, church, or community organizations.

All application documents should be uploaded into your application.
