The Next 150 Years: Delivering Degree Programs that Fit the Needs of Working Adults and Employers
It has been truly special to celebrate our 150th anniversary and affirm our commitment to equipping working adults in the Philadelphia region to achieve their goals and successfully fulfill workforce needs. This historic anniversary gave us many opportunities to celebrate our great legacy with students, alumni, staff, and partners.
Besides celebrating, this year has been about establishing the blue print that will define Peirce as it enters its next 150 years. In April, we launched our three year strategic plan with a vison to become the recognized higher education leader in providing adult learners direct and customized paths to employer-valued skills and credentials. By implementing the plan, we will introduce new flexible learning platforms that better facilitate degree completion, expand our partnerships with regional employers, and develop customized approaches to guidance and support services.
Since 1865, it has been the amazing men and women who have come through our doors as students and left as graduates who have made Peirce a significant institution in the region. Over the next 150 years, Peirce will continue to be student-focused, preparing our graduates for triumphant careers in tomorrow’s workplace.
