SCOTUS Affirmative Action Decision
A message from President and CEO Mary Ellen Caro, Ed.D.:
The Supreme Court’s decision to overturn race consideration in college admissions was a tremendous disappointment to those of us committed to a more equitable and accessible higher education system.
At Peirce, we are proud to be an adult serving, open-admissions institution, dedicated to providing college opportunities for all. While this decision will not impact our admissions or recruitment efforts, we recognize the impact this will have on the communities we serve.
Be assured that our commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging has not and will not waver. Peirce will continue to fight structural racism and injustices, to ensure a better world for us all. We will continue to create an inclusive environment for our student body and their families that is welcoming and that understands the value of diverse voices and experiences to the educational journey.
