New Program Spotlight: Bachelor’s in Public Health Administration

A year and a half into the COVID-19 pandemic, public health administrators are needed now more than ever.

Public health professionals focus on preventing disease, prolonging life and promoting human health through organized efforts that help the public make informed choices. Public Health covers a wide range of sociological, scientific, and mathematical approaches and seeks to improve standards of living and inform and enhance healthcare policy.

At Peirce, our Bachelor of Science in Public Health Administration is designed to equip graduates with the analytical skills necessary to develop, implement, and lead public health policies. It was designed in partnership with advisors at the World Health Organization, Yale University, University of Washington, and University of North Carolina.

It’s a great time to get into the field – public health related professions are projected to grow an average of 17% by 2030, much faster than the average for other occupations.

Peirce’s bachelor’s degree program is offered entirely online and taught by our experienced healthcare faculty, as well as partner faculty through the LCME coalition. The program is 121 credits long, and students can apply up to 90 transfer credits. Students with transfer credits or who are interested in completing courses through alternative credit providers can finish the degree for about $20,000. Even better? Students can earn up to 12 graduate credits that apply to both the bachelor’s and a graduate level program!
