Peirce College’s Business Programs Reaffirmed by ACBSP

We are proud to announce that Peirce College has received reaffirmed accreditation by The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) of our undergraduate degree programs in business administration and accounting.

“The reaffirmation of our accreditation demonstrates to Peirce students and prospective students the value of the College’s Business programs,” said Dr. Cathy Littlefield, Professor and Faculty Chair, Business. “Our graduates can proudly tell their employers that what they learned in their degree program is high-quality, cutting edge, and industry-relevant.”

ACBSP’s accreditation standards are based on the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award process, the widely-acknowledged business “gold standard” that requires regular reporting on the results of continuous improvement plans.

With more than 30 years of promoting excellence in global business program accreditation, ACBSP was the first organization offering specialized business accreditation for all degree levels, from associate to baccalaureate to doctoral degree programs. ACBSP-accreditation certifies that the teaching and learning processes within the business degrees and programs offered through Peirce College meet the rigorous educational standards established by ACBSP.

Business programs at Peirce College were first accredited by ACBSP in 2001 and include the College’s A.S. in Business Administration, B.S. in Business Administration and a specialized accreditation for the B.S. in Accounting. The institution is required to go through the reaffirmation process every 10 years to maintain ACBSP accreditation.

“Peirce College has shown its commitment to teaching excellence and to the process of quality improvement by participating in the accreditation process,” said ACBSP Chief Accreditation Officer Dr. Steve Parscale. “This reaffirmation of accreditation is evidence that they are committed to maintaining the highest quality business education for their students for the next 10 years, just as they have done since 2013.”

Peirce College looks forward to continuing to provide students with online and flexible Business programs that aligns with their professional goals and personal interests. For more information about our Business programs, visit our Business Division webpage.
