Wishing luck to Jim Vitale on his retirement

BEST WISHES: We wish Jim Vitale the best in his retirement from Peirce College after 12 years of service. |
It’s with mixed emotion that we announce the retirement of Jim Vitale, Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration here at the College. Jim retires tomorrow after 12 years of superb service at Peirce, where he was responsible for the Business Office, Enrollment Services, the Office of Financial Aid, Admissions, Information Technology, and Auxiliary Services (including campus facilities and security).
He retires having made Peirce a better institution for our students and graduates, and we are very fortunate to have experienced his outstanding leadership and extraordinary commitment to the College. I asked Jim to share a few short thoughts with us as he prepares for the next chapter of his life.
“I’m sad to leave Peirce, and I’ll miss being part of such a dedicated team. But I’m looking forward to retirement. My short term plans are to travel to Florida for a few weeks of vacation. After that, I’m excited to spend more time with my family, especially being able to attend functions at my grandchildren’s schools. Beyond that, I’ll just be taking it one day at a time.
My parting words for my fellow employees are that you should feel good about the direction that the College is taking. Jim Mergiotti has assembled a talented management team that is positioned to ensure that the College achieves even more success than we have already.”
Thanks Jim, for your hard work and dedication to Peirce over the past 12 years. We’ll miss you, and wish you the best in your retirement.
