New Program Spotlight: Certificate in Cloud Computing (Amazon Web Services aligned)

In our increasingly virtual world, the need for cloud based IT services is critical. That’s why we created one of Peirce’s newest undergraduate programs, a Certificate of Proficiency in Cloud Computing.

Cloud computing is the online delivery and management of IT services, including servers, networks, databases and software. Cloud computing is one of the main forces shaping the face of IT today because it helps businesses lower IT costs and scale services more efficiently

Peirce’s certificate curriculum utilizes Amazon Web Services (AWS) content to teach students the skills they need for careers in cloud computing, including those interested in starting an IT career and IT professionals who want to expand their skills.

Peirce College is a participating institution of the AWS Academy, and the curriculum of the Cloud Computing certificate is designed to help students prepare for AWS Certification.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, cloud computing is one of the most in demand IT industry skills, and jobs are forecasted to grow by 11% through 2029.

Peirce’s certificate program is offered entirely online and is completely stackable with our associate degree in Information Technology and the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. It can also be applied to many of our other programs as an added credential. The program is 19 credits long; can be completed in 6-9 months; and accepts up to nine transfer credits.
