New Program Spotlight: Certificate in Project Management Administration

It’s been a busy summer at Peirce College. Our faculty members have been hard at work building SIX new programs that will launch this fall:

  • Certificate of Proficiency in Cloud Computing
  • Certificate of Proficiency in Project Management Administration 
  • Certificate of Proficiency in Supply Chain Management & Logistics
  • Bachelor of Science in Public Health Administration 
  • Graduate Certificate in Public Health Administration
  • Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies

Over the next few months, we’ll highlight each of these new programs and the high priority occupations they align with, so you can make informed decisions about your future career options. 

First up, our Certificate of Proficiency in Project Management Administration. This undergraduate certificate program equips students with the skills to lead, develop, and manage projects, and provide strategic insights for all types of industries. You can also embed the Project Management Institute’s Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) certification into the program.

It’s a great time to get into the field – The project management-oriented labor force is expected to grow by 33% through 2027, according to the Project Management Institute Job Growth and Talent Gap report

The Project Management Institute report also cites growth for project management-oriented skills and jobs in healthcare, manufacturing and construction, information technology and services, finance and insurance, and management and professional services.

According to Dice.com, the median annual salary for project managers is about $80,000, but salary information varies with experience.

  • Entry-level employees (0-2 years of experience):  median salary of $56,000
  • Mid-Level employees (3-5 years of experience):   median salary of $80,7000
  • Those with more than 9 years of experience: median salary of $103,000.

Peirce’s certificate program is offered entirely online and is completely stackable with our bachelor’s degree programs in Liberal Studies, Business Administration, Information Technology, Technology Management, Healthcare Administration, and Organizational Leadership and Management. The program is 16 credits long; can be completed in 6-9 months; and accepts up to six transfer credits.
